A few days ago I was with my 3 friends in Pizza Express in Bexleyheath. We had a wonderful experience. The meal was delicious, service was very attentive, polite. The atmosphere was so nice, we decided to go to the restaurant very soon.

I visited a Pizza Express today for the first time as I was accompanying my friend to her interview, as we entered we were greeted by friendly staff and were given a table, a waitress then came by later and asked what we were having, I am Vegetarian, so I was stuck thinking about what to get, the waitress started introducing the different options to me and then surprised me by notifying me that there was a specific "Vegan" Menu available which I never knew. The waitress was really lovely and accommodating and even when I asked if I could keep the Menu's and started taking pictures of the items she was being really helpful and also spoke to me about the lighting. I would say that the waitress actually gave me the best service I have ever had at a restaurant to date. Even when I called her back to ask whether I can add another item to the order she happily obliged and kindly took my extra order and notified the chef. When I asked the Manager at the end if it was alright for me to take pictures of the place for this review, he was really accommodating, one picture is of one of the chef's there spreading the 'sunshine', really loved the experience there, would go again for it. The restaurant was a modern open plan establishment with friendly staff and a welcoming aura, it was bright and cheerful which really contrasted with the gloomy rainy outdoors at the time of my visit. The Chef's area is situated right in the centre of the room which adds an additional brilliance as you can see them working with gusto and enthusiasm. The Pizza I bought was the: Classic Style "Sloppy Vegan", it came quite fast, and I was given a pizza wheel to cut the pizza, that was my first time being asked to cut the pizza myself and it was a refreshing experience, really enjoyed it. The pizza was scrumptious, though next time I will try one of the Romana Pizza's for another new experience. I also got the "Hot Jalapeno Dough Balls", these were delicious, my friend recommended me to buy these and it was worth it. They came with a spicy dip as well as being drizzled in some, the chilly wasn't overwhelming and quite tasty. In the end the price came to £19.75, however we ended up being so satisfied with the service we decided to leave a £10 tip behind. Really enjoyed the experience here. Would recommend to attend.

I had booked a table for 4 but it turned out to be 5 of us and the lady (didn’t get her name) wasn’t rude at all and accommodated this. We had a really nice waiter (again didn’t get his name but he had glasses) he made us feel very welcomed! :)

We booked the table and reached on time but we still had to wait 10 mins for the table to be ready. All the staff members were very helpful. Though I found it to be busy and had to wait close to 30 -40 mins for our order to be ready. Both my kids enjoyed their time. Nice pleasant ambience. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a family dinner.

We hosted our daughter's birthday party today at Pizza Express and had a wonderful experience! Monica and the team delivered top-notch service—friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating. The kids absolutely loved making their own pizzas. It was also a thoughtful touch that parents could stay if they wanted to. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to consider offering slightly smaller pizza portions, similar to those on the regular kids’ menu, and perhaps adding party favour bags for the little ones. That said, everything ran smoothly, and the overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this venue for a fun, memorable, and stress-free celebration!
